The staff is SUPERFRIENDLY, very helpful. The breakfast is freshly prepared and great with toast and juices, had everything you could imagine. It has great and lovely location, not far from shop and local pub, beautiful Yorkshire...  

The breakfasts were always freshly prepared with toast and juices. The location was peaceful and unbeatable, near to Rawcliffe park, surrounding area and local pub.

I loved the private entrance to our spacious Twin Room! It gave us a sense of freedom and security, perfect after a fun day of exploring. Plus, the beautifully maintained flower gardens outside made for a good morning coffee spot!...  

Big hype, little substance

While the cozy atmosphere and public garden attract visitors, I found myself let down by rough towels and occasional musty smells in the room. The lack of cooking facilities was a drawback for our family's stay, as we had to rely on nearby dining with limited options. Good service but mixed comfort.

The room was cozy and warm upon our arrival, which we loved. Its location next to a pub and a chippy is super convenient. Big thanks to carolyn for being such a cute host!

The room was spotless and beautifully decorated. I loved having direct access to the lovely gardens right outside. It was super relaxing to sit in the peaceful outdoor seating areas, and the bonus of having your own front door is just perfect for coming and going. Just a small note, we noticed some smoke from other guests near our door once, but it didn’t take away from our comfy stay. 🌼

When we arrived, the warm welcome from the owners. The room had everything we needed, including a lovely tea setup with Yorkshire tea and biscuits. Plus, you can't forget the good breakfast that was a real treat,...

I had a fantastic 3-night stay in a Twin Room. The cleanliness and comfort were great! I particularly loved the powerful shower and the peaceful ambiance. I would stay here again!

Clean room with comfortable bed. The towels felt rough. Easy drive to the golf course nearby. Breakfast included was delicious.

Just a good pick for a quick trip in York with value for price. The breakfast was really nice, especially the cooked option. Make sure to book the pub in advance to avoid hassle.
